Troop 952 is attending Webelo Woods on Saturday. We would love to have as many Scouts and adults as possible come out and help. Some of the boys have been practicing cooking a Peach Cobbler for a cooking demonstration (see pictures of one practice session here). Continue reading

Scouts from Troop 952 are encouraged to help support Webelo Woods on Saturday March 3rd. The Scouts have been planning and practicing a cooking demonstration and we will be manning a Troop display as well. This is a great opportunity to meet Webelos that soon will be choosing a Troop into which to crossover. This is an all day event and into the evening and we would really like a great turnout.
We are again conducting Troop and Patrol meetings at the Scout Hut. The long delayed upgraded is finished and the power is back on.
Our dates for summer camp this year have been confirmed to the week that most of the boys picked. We are confirmed at Cockrell River Camp at El Rancho Cima for the River Camp Week 2 (June 17th-23rd).
Please come to the Taylor Lake Village City Hall this Saturday February 18th to celebrate with Rusty Rowland and Charles Lumpkin and honor them for their achievement in earning the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 952. The ceremony begins at 3:00 and there will be refreshments following. This is a great accomplishment so come out and help us honor their hard work.
Starting Monday February 6th we will be conducting troop meeting back at the Scout Hut. We will meet either under the building or at the picnic table. Bring battery powered lanterns if you have one and a camp chair to sit on as the ground is wet and muddy.
See you there.
